Two years ago I tore my tendon just below the soleus muscle. After one year of rehab exercises, icing, etc...I would consistently develop tendinitis after one-two miles of easy running. I ordered these sleeves with some reservations and a lot of desperation, but have found them to be very effective. They do not take the place of a good warm-up, but I can run at a fairly high pace with only minimal discomfort, and I am not as sore the next day. I would definitely recommend them, along with appropriate strength and stretching exercises. They have been the primary change that has allowed me to resume my triathlon training.
