The strap works very well. Before I got the strap, my ITB would start acting up after 2-3 miles and I would have to rest for at least a week. Since I started using the the strap, I have been able to run 2-3 times a week, 3-5 miles each session. My only complaint is that the material already seems to be getting a little frayed and has started curling at the edges already after 2 weeks.
