I was training for my first half marathon and during a long training run, my knee gave out and I experienced all the symptoms of ITBS. My doctor even advised me not to run the half marathon. I purchased a pattstrap after reading about it in a running magazine. After 3 weeks of resting up, I ran my first half marathon wearing the pattstrap. I suffered no pain whatsoever throughout the entire run.
I was so impressed with it, I have told all my running mates about it.
