I have mixed feelings about the Pattstrap. The first few times I wore it, I had absolutely no pain at all, and it was wonderful. Then, after a run one day, my IT band pain flared up while I was walking up the stairs. A few days later, the pain was back regardless of whether I was wearing the strap or not. I think the problem was that I really needed to rest my IT band more before I began running, and I'm doing that right now, unfortunately :(.
