I severly injured my IT band while training for a marathon last October. The PattStrap has been a big help in building up my strength again. It isn't perfect for me, but it does help to reduce the irritation, especially when I'm trying to increase mileage or intensity. I don't recommend wearing it every day, since I think it masks the underlying problem, but it is helpful as a crutch while working on correcting the underlying problem. My only complaint is that the strap starts to lose it's grip (starts slipping) after a while (probably 150-200 miles). For $18 though, it is a bargain, and worth trying to get some relief from this frustrating condition.
