Last April I ran a 8k race and my knee hurt so bad I stopped running for nearly 4 months. I decided I wanted run a marathon and started minimal running and then started a training schedule. After a couple weeks my knee was hurting the same, even though I had been running on and off for 2 months with no pain. After lengthy research on the internet I realized it was my IT Band. I found Pattstrap.com one late night and from reading the reviews thought I would give it a try. I really was not too sure that something so simple would work. Ok....WOW...the first time I wore the Patt Strap I completed 3 easy miles to test it with no pain. I was getting to 1.5 miles before and had to walk home with pain. I have been using the Patt Strap for 3 weeks now running 4 days a week and have not had any pain in my IT Band. I made 6 miles and felt great after running. Honestly 6 miles was the longest I have ever run in one session. It is simple and it works!!!!! After using it I hope that it will hold up. The only con I have is it seems very light in material and I hope it doesn't wear out before its time. But for now it was worth it and saved my enjoyment of running!
