I have been training for a marathon, and experiencing ITBS on every training run. Needless to say, I've been struggling with my training runs and experiencing a lot of pain from the ITBS. When I received the PattStrap, I immediately put it 2-3 inches above my kneecap and went for a 7 mile run. I felt GREAT! There was a minimal amount of pain, but it was very manageable! Nothing like the pain I felt before when I wasn't wearing the strap. Before the strap, I'd feel the pain not only through my calf, but up into my hamstrings as well. With the strap on, I didn't feel that pain at all, and felt MUCH better about my run! While it won't get rid of the pain entirely, it definitely helps to manage it, and encourages a good run!
This strap goes along great with good stretching and icing! Now I feel better about my training and determined to quality for the Boston Marathon!
