Having run both the London and Dublin marathons in 2007 (the latter in a pbt of 3.45), on returning to training my right IT band became too painful for me to continue. Having taken a little time off (including a week's hard skiing) and after consulting a physio and receiving some FANTASTIC PATTSTRAPS, I can now run without so much as a twinge. I am so amazed and delighted and cannot praise these little strips of foam enough. I am addicetd!
